Documents and Information

We require the following documents and information for filing:

  1. name and address of applicant
  2. description, claims and drawings of the disclosure
  3. declaration of priority including date, country and application number, if any
  4. non-certified copy of the priority application, preferably electronic PDF-copy, if any
  5. instruction as to whether request for novelty search is to be filed

In case the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO) does not issue any formal office action you may expect the registration of the utility model after two to four weeks of filing.
